Fat

There used to be songs about it.

These days there are policies about it. Even though it is nobody else’s business at all.

That’s what ‘progressive’ means. They talk about progress but never mention which direction they are taking us.

  1. I would love it if you got a job as a teacher, you may only last about 5 minutes but think of the fun you would have.
    John Gibson

    • Five minutes? If only. I don’t have the patience to get into the classroom. First little bastard to spout off gets floored and I reckon I’d be handing in my notice within thirty seconds, stapled to the class thug’s head.

  2. Throw away comments by Cameron are merely a very small tip to the iceberg. Regardless of what the Times might say, the softening up process for draconian actionis well under way with the wheels conveniently being ‘greased’ by the MSM in general. There are far more dietary related press articles than were ever for tobacco issues – the DM for example regularly includes centre pull outs about dieting and what food/drink we should avoid/cut down. It’s not as though people haven’t been ‘educated’ in what is considered to be bad for them. Basically though, if you’re fat the odds are it’s primarily diet related.

As a smoker, I don’t really care about about other groups being demonised. If the sheeples accept the passive smoking shit they deserve all they get. But if more people get pissed off with the healthists interfering in their lives something has to crack. Bring it on.

    • I’m with you all the way there, db, on your comment except for not caring about what’s happening to our stout friends.

Were it not for the fact that I smoke and have the metabolism of a hummingbird, I’d be one of them myself and just as mad as hops at the bastards. There is such an amazing variety of chow and grog available these days that it’s hard to resist. And why resist anyhow, what business is it of anyone’s what I eat?

I say Bring it On to all of those healthist nosey-parkers. It’ll be great fun to watch them twisting from the lamp post for days at a time, given their ultra lightweight stature and self-imagined immortality.

      • TBH, I have little faith in most smokers themselves. And no sympathy at all for those who have bought into the passive smoking bilge. I very rarely visit pubs nowadays – I soon discovered that the average pub-using smoker is beyond help and reason. And a bit thick…

        • This is why the tobacco companies should pull right out of Australia now and do the same when the UK brings in plain packaging.

It’s the only thing that will wake up all those shivering outside pubs saying ‘it’s for me own good’. Besides, if they are happy to let the prohibition bandwagon roll on, sod them.

  3. BMI’s can create miracles.

Under the age of 65, normal BMI is from 18-25.

    BMI’s over 25 are over-weight and unhealthy.

Over age 65, normal BMI extends from 18-29.9

The day before I turned 65 I was over-weight and unhealthy.

The next day my BMI was normal and I had a healthy bodyweight!!!
All without losing a single pound,

    It was a miracle!!!!!
