Red Ed’s probably a very nice boy, presentable enough to take home to mum and be interrogated by your rellies without too much embarrassment. But he is rich and that is something the reds can’t deal with. It always makes them feel uncomfortable. Doesn’t go with the socialist mantra of ‘robbing the rich to help the poor’ and they are so sensitive to the accusation of ‘hypocrite’ that they often try too hard and then foul things up.
