Watching the world burn.

This is somewhat random. Teacher’s isn’t the best of whiskies but it’s one of the better grain blends and cheap, so I have been drinking about a week’s worth of units tonight. Tomorrow I think I’ll go for a Lochlan, a blend of malts, which will be far better for me.

I have to get a new oven. Realistically it is time to replace the entire kitchen but these are trivial concerns. Raising the money is not a problem – I had to find over £600 a month just to cover the bills during my two years with no income. All I need is eBay. I watched a few auctions for  1/3000 scale ships and there is not much demand but they all sell – unpainted. I have a lot of these, almost all painted a long time ago with 16-year-old eyes. I’ll never make use of them again, it’s nearly 40 years since they last fired an imaginary shell. There is much, much more crap in the attic.

If real wars used imaginary shells there would be a lot fewer rectangular holes being dug these days. Wars could be fought like paintball or laser games, where the opponent isn’t killed but is out of the game. It doesn’t work that way in real life. Real life wars require real death.

The death doesn’t end when the war ends. Crimea have yet to find out what Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya have long known. When the ‘liberators’ have had their Public Image moment, they move on to the next Public Image moment and leave that ‘liberated’ country to the scavengers. It doesn’t matter to them any more. The World Stage is ready for the next show. It is all about image for politicians. It is not about people at all. Voting for them just boosts their already overinflated egos. It achieves nothing more than that.

Strutting the World Stage now is one Dai Cameroid, who has found the solution to all the world’s ills. Well, no, he hasn’t because he isn’t even looking but he has found the solution to ‘how can I be the most cowardly bastard on the face of the planet and give in to every little pressure group that exists?

Putting people in charge of things because of quotas rather than ability is an insane way to run anything at all. If you are a one-legged  fat woman with drug problems and a fatherless child, give Dai Cameroid a ring. You’ll count against a lot of his quotas. It doesn’t matter if your IQ is 60 and you have never had the slightest interest in running the country. You probably know more about it than he does anyway.

In Brazil, teams and commentators are pelted with stones for this World Cup that Brazilians (sensibly) say their country cannot afford. The Quatari bid to host the World Cup is suddenly mired in claims of corruption. Seems to me that the World Cup mob have finally realised that the entire Middle East is a war zone. They kick heads rather than balls around over there.

The Malaysian plane remains unfound and there was a report recently about a whole load of planes vanishing from radar. What was all that about? It looks like practice runs, doesn’t it? Somethng big could be on the way.

The world is burning. Nobody in power seems to have noticed. Or maybe this was the plan all along.

It will definitely result in populatiion reduction. By the most inhumane methods possible.

Politicians – there must be better ways to be a git.

  1. Always be wary of anyone who says they can solve the world’s problem with a sound bite: As for the world burning. It seems to me, that it has always been so. As you know, I have a well deserved reputation as an incendiary (arson is such a harsh word). Anyway, I can’t be blamed for all the planet’s conflagrations, just some.

    • Not something I would normally listen to, reminds me of wheels spinning on a gravel drive – a painful, peppering noise, but I fully endorse the message:

But not so many as profitable, especially when your living costs are all on expenses

  3. Cameron (and all Western ‘leaders’) appear to give in to every pressure group because the state sets up thousands of fake charities and quangos and advisory panels with specially chosen members all to tell the government* to do what it wanted all along, thus giving the particular con an air of respectability, accountability and ‘grass roots’ support.

    *EU, UN, etc.

    • You sound surprised. I knew he would be almost exactly like his Labour predecessors. These blokes only get chosen because they are compromised and guaranteed to toe the globalist line by aiding in national destruction.

  4. On Ebay, I have just been leaving comments on other sites. This was the latest on an Ebay ‘community’ page a few minutes ago…..

I used to think sellers should leave feedback first and a surprising number do, but now I never do until I receive feedback first.

When someone claims not to have received an item (rarely happens – always an overseas order) I leave feedback along the lines of “Sorry you didn’t receive the first shipment…” so that others may see it if it’s a fraudster.

Talking of fraudsters – Ebay’s favourite customers – I reported a new customer via ‘chat’ and on the official report page (I won’t bore you with all the details, but first he was registered in Norway and wanted the item sent to the Lebanon (it was a UK-only listing) then he opens another a/c claiming to be based in the UK wanting it sent to London), but on chat I was informed that he probably was a fraudster. I cancelled his second PayPal payment (like the 1st) then a couple of days later received an email from ebay saying that the buyer refused cancellation (just registered; no feedback other than mine in which I said he is possibly a fraudster), but ebay say they will not refund my FVF and that I must send the £43 item.

No chance. I will take legal action to get the £4 of fees back if I have to and contact Trading Standards and the police about Ebay aiding and abetting reported suspected fraudsters.

I really believe that Ebay cares more about criminals than honest, long-time sellers (11 years in my case) because they get up to 11% Ebay commission plus 3.4% PayPal commission (plus 20p) regardless.

They believe that sellers have no choice which is why they always side with the buyer. Well, they are wrong with me. I WILL be closing my shop any day when the right time arrives.

Their ‘customer service’ is a nightmare. The whole thing stinks and I’ve had enough of it.

  5. Come on, Stewart. We ALWAYS want to have a bit of scandal shared. Even more so because as a regularly pissed-off Eseller I love it when someone dishes the dirt on their scabby self-serving business practices.

  6. Give guns to the politicians and make them do the fighting.

Make the mullahs do the suicide bombings.

the world would be a lot more quiet.
