Watching the world burn.

This is somewhat random. Teacher’s isn’t the best of whiskies but it’s one of the better grain blends and cheap, so I have been drinking about a week’s worth of units tonight. Tomorrow I think I’ll go for a Lochlan, a blend of malts, which will be far better for me.

I have to get a new oven. Realistically it is time to replace the entire kitchen but these are trivial concerns. Raising the money is not a problem – I had to find over £600 a month just to cover the bills during my two years with no income. All I need is eBay. I watched a few auctions for  1/3000 scale ships and there is not much demand but they all sell – unpainted. I have a lot of these, almost all painted a long time ago with 16-year-old eyes. I’ll never make use of them again, it’s nearly 40 years since they last fired an imaginary shell. There is much, much more crap in the attic.

If real wars used imaginary shells there would be a lot fewer rectangular holes being dug these days. Wars could be fought like paintball or laser games, where the opponent isn’t killed but is out of the game. It doesn’t work that way in real life. Real life wars require real death.

The death doesn’t end when the war ends. Crimea have yet to find out what Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya have long known. When the ‘liberators’ have had their Public Image moment, they move on to the next Public Image moment and leave that ‘liberated’ country to the scavengers. It doesn’t matter to them any more. The World Stage is ready for the next show. It is all about image for politicians. It is not about people at all. Voting for them just boosts their already overinflated egos. It achieves nothing more than that.

Strutting the World Stage now is one Dai Cameroid, who has found the solution to all the world’s ills. Well, no, he hasn’t because he isn’t even looking but he has found the solution to ‘how can I be the most cowardly bastard on the face of the planet and give in to every little pressure group that exists?‘

Putting people in charge of things because of quotas rather than ability is an insane way to run anything at all. If you are a one-legged  fat woman with drug problems and a fatherless child, give Dai Cameroid a ring. You’ll count against a lot of his quotas. It doesn’t matter if your IQ is 60 and you have never had the slightest interest in running the country. You probably know more about it than he does anyway.

In Brazil, teams and commentators are pelted with stones for this World Cup that Brazilians (sensibly) say their country cannot afford. The Quatari bid to host the World Cup is suddenly mired in claims of corruption. Seems to me that the World Cup mob have finally realised that the entire Middle East is a war zone. They kick heads rather than balls around over there.

The Malaysian plane remains unfound and there was a report recently about a whole load of planes vanishing from radar. What was all that about? It looks like practice runs, doesn’t it? Somethng big could be on the way.

The world is burning. Nobody in power seems to have noticed. Or maybe this was the plan all along.

It will definitely result in populatiion reduction. By the most inhumane methods possible.

Politicians – there must be better ways to be a git.
