Eleven-eleven

Today is a day to remember those who gave their lives and those who came back damaged.

They fought so that we have the freedom to hurl abuse at each other.

They fought as men so that we can act like children.

As always, this blog will remain silent for this day.

  1. Amen to all those sentiments. I am laying a wreath tomorrow. My family lost 4 in the Great war with another wounded (he used to show me the scar when I was a boy). Thankfully all in WWII and Korea survived. But I will and do remember them all.
